My buddy RoseAnn who used to work for the AT&T Center in San Antonio and now works for the New Meadowlands Stadium Company invited us to her wedding in Houston. Her wedding date was set for Saturday, May 7.
Dave and I drove up from San Antonio on Friday evening. We stayed at the Hilton Americas-Houston thanks to the assistance of my friend Alicia who got us a great friends and family rate.
The wedding was on Saturday morning at the Rice Memorial Chapel at Rice University. RoseAnn and Marcus had met while in college but went their separate ways and made their way back to one another; classic love story.

The reception wasn’t until the evening so after the ceremony we made our way back to our room to relax. The ceremony was held at the Downtown Aquarium in Houston! What a clever location for a ceremony. The reception was held in the Nautilus Ballroom.
We were also provided the opportunity to partake in the rides so we had to ride the Diving Bell Ferris Wheel and the Aquatic Carousel.
Yup; there it is!
On Sunday we drove back to San Antonio. It was a lovely wedding weekend; congratulations RoseAnn and Marcus!
