A weekend away to San Diego

Dave and I had a gift certificate for a two night stay in San Diego to be redeemed at the Loews Coronado Bay. We flew out on Friday, February 27. While in San Diego Dave stopped in to visit with a vendor and we had dinner together later that evening. We had a great dinner at Roppongi in La Jolla. At dinner our conversation revolved around our plans for the weekend. We said we'd planned on a round of golf on Saturday at the Naval Air Station North Island at the Sea 'N Air Golf Course. Our host said that the had his pilot's license and would Dave and I be interested in going on a tour of the California coast line on Sunday? Heck yes we were interested so made plans to meet then and we had our own private excursion with a stop over for lunch in Catalina Island. We spent the afternoon flying and touring then we left San Diego on Sunday evening. It was a terrific weekend!
