First Weekend Getaway

I put in my resignation to the CVB and my last day in the office was 4/26/2007. On the weekend of April 14 we traveled to Port Aransas, TX with our friends Doug & Molly and Noemi & Michael. Doug & Molly have a condo on the beach for sale and we decided to take a weekend away and enjoy it. We got on the "Kohootz" dolphin encounter boat. Weather was sunny but chilly. We tried to "encounter" the dolphins but my picture taking abilities weren't fast enough. The only proof I have is a dolphin fin!

We did have fun that weekend; we learned interesting historical facts about the port and the surrounding areas; including the lighthouse, Lydia Ann Channel Light (Aransas Pass Light). http://www.coastlights.com/Texas/lydiaann.html

Dave also learned that the current owner of the lighthouse is the President & CEO of H-E-B!

We had a fun weekend; ate too much; drank too much and lost money on cards and farkle! All in all it was a great time with friends.
